One Love ft. Ronin & Young Illusion

One Love ft. Ronin & Young Illusion

“I just started getting into videography not even 2 months before I shot One Love. I was using cameras that weren’t mine, not doing music videos but doing photography with them, got a lot of props on the photos I was taking motivating me to […]

Lights – Josh Sahunta

Lights – Josh Sahunta

Lights is not really inspired by anything in particular, it’s kind of just an easy going fun song about letting go of yourself and having a good time, I wrote it in a place in my life where I took everything so seriously that it […]

Heart Speed

Heart Speed

Heart Speed

This is an acknowledgment that you never really know who it is you’re missing when love relationships are countries apart. One believes they know, but each moment, each individual grows. We long for the Past, Present and Future ALL at the same time. This particular “triple” state of longing creates a vehicle that transcends the original capabilities of the heart.

Save the Date || Spoken Word

Save the Date || Spoken Word

September 27th. I’m anxious, nervous, excited. Untameable feelings and hundreds of thoughts, all race through my mind like a Cheetah in the Savanna. When I was seven I closed my eyes and when I opened them again I was 18. Confused about life but believing […]

Innocence || Spoken Word

Innocence || Spoken Word

In this poem, I share my most intimate thoughts about what was going through my head when I got arrested at 17 for defending myself. “The story wasn’t about just being arrested but being misunderstood, stereotyped etc but still being able to step away from […]

The Lost Girl in the Forest

The Lost Girl in the Forest

This is my first commissioned paper art sculpture. I sold it to a great customer in Europe. From the order request to the packaging, it took me about a week to finish. You can request custom orders from me at my etsy shop here.

Two paper sculptures 12 in by 9.5 in depicting an autumn forest. Each tree has been created by twisting paper and carefully gluing the trunk and branches. There are about 21 trees in total. This piece also consists of deer silhouettes, wandering rabbits, and a lost child. The other piece contains a giant bonfire lit up by a tea light which can be turned on and off from under the corkboard base.

You Are Not Alone

You Are Not Alone

  Artwork courtesy of Katy Mendez When Heaven smiled, flowers would bloom. When she would laugh, everyone around felt warm sun rays brighten up their faces. When she played, it was as if all of creation sang in harmony songs of joy and celebration. For […]

Cherry Blossom

Cherry Blossom

[Poem inspired by the painting “Cherry’s Love” created by Ruvee Rose] There was love, Love that blossomed underneath the cherry tree. Bearing joy, sprung with laughter as it stood proud, worry-free. Then came the wind which struck its spell. Quick, withered love as the last […]
